  • After staying here for over one month, I have already get used to the the lifestyle in Emory.

I like the teaching style here as the courses are project-based instead of textbooks-based.

These days I am busy for my examinations as well as job applications.

I really worried about the job market in Hong Kong after the explosion of global financial crisis.

How unlucky it is! I just need a job offer which can provide clear goal and career paths.

I don't mind working overseas or handling lots of duties as long as they are good for personal growth.

I feel a bit frustrated previously after some bad news in job application from others.

It is far from sufficient in terms of personal ability and personality that I have to struggle with.

Time has passed and I regret of not planning well for career in advance.

Keep struggling with my weaknesses and fighting for the harsh time.

Hope that the right opportunity will eventually come...

  • Hapi to stay in Emory University, Atlanta
Meet lots of international and transferred students,
People here are very nice and helpful,
My roomate is from Spain, called Habi,
He really loves drinking and clubbling,
He told me that it is common in his country,

Joined local activities such as clubbing in downtown,
Not really enojoy the atmosphere becoz I am too shy as compared with those foreigners,
But it is good for me to explore different culture,
So scare when taking taxi back to the dormitory,
as the driver keep asking for early collection of fare
instead of keeping an eye on the road =.=

    Met my Emory Buddy Sandra,
she is a transferred student from Hong Kong
and has been here for a year already,
So nice of her to find me out from facebook before my first class
and show me and David around in the campus,
Hope to meet her again and din out soon

Got a City Pass to visit famous spots in Atlanta,
this Friday went out with students from Singapore to Coca Cola Company and CNN Center,
CNN Center is actually too short for me to get the ticket fee back,
It took only 40 minutes including walking along and watching an introduction video,
Do learn some technology used by CNN to produce weather reports,
How to get disappeared by simply using a single green cloth,
Visiting the headquarter of CNN and a small control room for visitors
Not satisfied at all as photos are not allowed to take inside the CNN

Coca Cola Company is indeed a good place to visit
There are lots of collections inside the exposition hall
Really amazed by long history of Coca cola and
    different kinds of promotion items
Watched a 4-D cartoon about the manufacture of a bottle of cola
    Surprised by its realistic effect
Watched all Coca Cola advertisements from invention till now
Tried all taste of Coca Cola products all around the world,
Most of them I have never tried before
and some tastes are so weird
Drank a lot of cola and got one bottle of classic cola as souvenirs

Visited Aquarium with David and Monica
It is the largest aquarium in the United State
I can touch the baby sharks and stingray,
Took lots of photos with fishes and animals,
Watched whales in a huge tanks,
Watched a 3-D cartoon about Animals in the ocean
    Do have a good time

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Apart from sightseeing,
It is also important for me to look for graduation jobs,
To tell the truth I am not so confident to get a better one
after meeting those students from Singapore,
I am not sure whether I have prepared enough or not
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Time just gives the answer of suitability,
    It's all good memory,
    Wish you all the best
